Lab Results Are In...

hey fellas, some of you may remember some of my previous posts, but if not heres my info.

im 20 years old, almost 21, 195 lbs. been lifting for about a year and a half now. have been feeling like ass from a car accident i was in, injured my head, shattered my arm and broke my back. nipples have become puffy and sensitive, im always tired and irritable, sex drive comes and goes, memory and concentration has been terrible.

my main doc did a blood test JUST for my t-levels and they came back total 423, cant remember free off the top of my head. went to an endocronologist and heres my results

FSH 3.8
LH 3.3
Free T4 121
TSH 2.038
Total Test. 332
Free Test. 95.3
Free Test% 2.87%

he refused to check my Estrogen and E2 levels and chewed my ass when i told him i wanted to. but just like my first doctor, he says IM NORMAL and were not going to do anything at this time. im getting really frustrate with all this, and feeling like shit all the time.

Go to LEF.org and order blood work on your own. You could do just the E2/estrodiol.

I don’t know the LH and FSH ranges by heart. But the levels will be elevated if the T levels are below what your system wants when the testes are not willing and able to respond to those intermediate hormones.

If your E levels are above normal ranges, your doc might do something. But if mid-high inside that range, if your doc does nothing, you can self medicate to get E down to 17-25 which is optimal.

t4 is a useless test. You want t3.

your TSH is elevated. I had a feeling you might have thyroid issues. Looks like you may very well. TSH is called thyroid stimulating hormone. When your body is not converting t4 into enough t3, your body produces more TSH to overcompensate.

Endo’s on the cutting edge will tell you that once TSH goes over 2, your thyroid is not working at optimal levels. Other old school measures had that number at 5. Things have changed.

Your T levels are obviously bad. At 20, you should at the very least be producing 600TT.

Idealy, you want to find a doctor willing to work threw supervision of John Crisler(I sent you the link). Dr Crisler is the foremost leader in the HRT field and will administer treatment directions threw your GP to you, without a personal consultation with him(you don’t live in michigan like I do).

A head injury can easily hammer your pituitary gland. I forget which test will show this, ask your MD maybe?

I am beginning to think a head injury (rolled truck) may have pushed me over the low t symptom tipping point.

Very possible, only way to find out is to talk to an endo.

Does not matter, unless there is a treatable tumor, but then if that is fixed the pituitary will probably still not work right. From a pragmatic point of view, if your LH is low, you need to get on HCG or HCG+TRT.
