La Cucina Anabolica Italiana

Italian Style Wings

My grandma used to make these when we were kids. These were the ‘party wings’ before “Buffalo Wings” were en vogue.

I got the whole tray to mah-self.

Easy:
Olive Oil, Garlic, spices-- roast.

Omma Nomma Nomma

How is it I stumble across one of your updates right before I go to train. Then I spend the whole workout with thoughts of wings dancing through my head and random Pavlov drooling. Bastard.

olive oil, garlic, salt and peper, the usual italian spices but i really think ROSEMARY is the key.

do yourself a favor and try if you havent

HA! Cool.

Hope they turn out ok for you!

Pork and cold beer at 9:15, should be allowed here…

Great shit Steely, thought you should see some of your roots and how we do it…

I think the take home message I got from this thread was it’s pretty easy to make good (and anabolic) Italian food.

I use your Shrimp recipe from a while back pretty often.

I also regularly make homemade pesto and spread it on a lot of meat

Great thread SteelyD

Thanks! Glad you all enjoy the thread!

This thread should be a sticky! I come back to this thread often for inspiration.

I think there might be some odd correlation between being a stud in the kitchen and being a stud in the gym.

Great stuff Steely.

I am glad to see that the small contingent of Degos and Wops is sharing their wealth, and do it with such style. Fucking love this shit.

Hi all,

Quick Q from someone on the AD diet:

I recently (finally) bought some Almond Milk, and the stuff was great! Now, I’m wondering what the possibilities are as far as cooking with it is concerned. I’ve spent so long just doing the boring “boneless skinless breasts and broccoli” diet.

I used to love milk as a kid, and I feel like almond milk presents a lot of interesting cooking possibilities. I’ve tried doing some searches on T-Nation but haven’t really found any great leads. Any help?

Don’t know, sorry.

Try the A/D thread, this really isn’t the thread for that discussion.

Been hitting the grill pretty hard this Spring. Got a new Weber 3 burner.

Today’s recipe is simple

Marinate strip steaks in EVOO, garlic, spices, etc.

Grill to medium.

Serve with rice pasta. The rice pasta really soaks up the steak juice.

Various rice noodles.

Great replacement for wheat noodles if you have that desire.

Looks delicious. I’ve started rereading this thread but wouldn’t mind seeing more new pics either. This thread is pure inspirational food porn (poor copycat pic to prove how inspiring it is)
