L-Leucine w/ High Fat Meal?

Got my order of Leucine and this stuff tastes awful. Tried on eggs, and with dinner and had all I could do to finish the meals. I have managed to mask the taste though, by putting in into my protein shakes, between meals. My shakes usually are high fat, low carb. The fat is from 1-2 tablespoons of evoo, or coconut oil and now the Leucine.

Does the high fat, effect the Leucine in any way? I would imagine the absorbtion is slower but other than that is it detrimental in any way?

It won’t make a difference.

Besides, it’s likely that your shakes are still digested faster than solid food meals since they are liquid.
