I have in no way transferred to Vegan, but I have read a fair amount of studies, (the China Study one, being the largest most scientifically relevant study regarding food and humans ever done). I am very into Local, unprocessed whole foods. I get my beef and eggs from a friend who started a small farm and raises his livestock truly free range. Like I help him move the “chicken mansion” and helped him plant a 1000 sq ft garden last year. My percentage of food that comes out of a box or bag is down to about 10-20% of my diet. and almost everything I eat is grown or produced within 40 miles of my house.
All that being said, I am very seriously considering cutting all meat from my diet. My son who is 6 months old, has never eaten meat, and he has gone from 9 Lbs 6 Ounces, to over 18 Lbs in 6 months. He is healthy smart and very active, and is looking like he is going to be a tank. He has only had human breast milk, Formula, and organic fruits and veggies either grown in my garden, or some bought at the store.
Mac Danzig is a vegan UFC fighter and he is absolutely not lacking any muscle. I have also read more and more of many competitive elite athletes who are Vegan. I think the lack of a ton of elite Vegan athletes has more to do with the overall percentage of vegans in the total population (at least as far as Americans goes).
Anyways, not sure why I wanted to post this, Half you ass hats probably don’t even know who Vegita is. If I go completely Vegan, I’ll try to stop in from time to time and post some results or overall comments.
