Thoughts??

I personally want to see Johnson vs Hazelett, but Koshcheck would be a good test to see where he’s really at in the division

Hazelett has Karo on the same card.

True true. But I just like the match up better, although I know it wouldn’t have been co-main event caliber though… I just think Hazelett’s underrated by a lot of folks.

I agree…it’s probably because he has the bitter-beer face of an 80 year-old man. He’s very underrated and improving tremendously. A rematch with him and Koscheck would be interesting as well.

Haha. His face is no worse than Dolloway’s though… It would be a good match-up, especially if Kos gets beat by Johnson

Should be a good fight. Hope AJ makes weight. Kos fought at 103, AJ at 104 last Saturday, fast turnarounds for these guys.

Guarantee the fight doesn’t go the distance, and someone gets knocked out.

My thing is,will Koscheck forget how well-rounded he is and try to stand and trade with AJ. Because if he does,I highly believe he will be put to sleep. You have to take into account the weight that AJ is dropping from…and Koscheck is not a “big” WW. AJ will no doubt have a power advantage with strikes.

Koscheck better try to take his ass down when the opportunity is there.

I don’t know about that Kos knocked Yoshida out cold, AJ just TkOd him. I’m picking Kos better wrestler and just as poerful striking.

Yoshida is not a standing heavy bag. Different fight/fighters…different results. Really doesn’t prove anything. They could very much be on the same level of striking…AJ has faster hands and more mass behind those fast hands.

And, striking seems to be his strength. Why would you want to fight someone where they had the best chance of beating you, when you know that you could make them fight you somewhere that they had less chance (and that other place just happened to be your strength)? That’s just stupid.

I think Kos suffers from his ego at times, and thinks that just because his striking has improved, that he’s gotta prove something and beat other people at striking, even if it means that he has less of an advantage/chance of winning.

my thoughts are…no way in hell am i paying to watch this one

Agreed. Everything is in place for him skill-wise…but his ego is short-changing his absolute potential.

What’s up with spike still showing the commercial for 106 saying Brock is going to fight?? this aint the place for it, but I was also highly let down by dana’s quote un-quote great fight last night on TUF??
