Kombucha Tea

Hi Guys,

Has anyone heard of kombucha tea? I went to http://www.GetKombucha.com and wikepedia to read up on it.

Is anyone making or drinking this stuff?

thanks

Yes i have done in the past, easy to make and tastes good in my opinion. It does have some research behind it and I’d suggest it is one natural health supplement that you can genuinely make yourself for pennies.

I’d also add that aside from it providing healthy bacteria and having numerous benefits, it is very alkalising, which we know is an important issue - brew some up!

Kombucha is good stuff. I recommend checking out GT’s raw organic kombucha in a healthfood store. They come in a few flavors. The taste takes a little getting used to, but I’m also not someone who is afraid of things like that. Check it out.

I’ve been brewing my own kombucha for months now. I don’t believe all the hype that surrounds it, but it’s an extremely tasty drink - effervescne,t sweet, and a little vingerary and tart.

It raises my metabolism seemingly - I sweaten when I drink it. I drink it the morning of a race. The best thing is that everytime you make it, you double the culture and can make more, or give it away.

If you happen to be in the dfw area, I’ve got a baby culture to give away.

I drink it and I LOVE this stuff. It is definitely good for your gut (digestive system) and probably good for other stuff as well. Most of all, I find it delicious and it satisfys that part of me that wants something fermented (like beer).

I drink it daily. I get the Gingerade Organic Raw Komubucha by GTS http://www.gtskombucha.com
I get it at Whole Foods, but it is expensive $2.99 for 16 ounces. I am thinking about making my own for that reason.
