Knees Hurt from ATG Squat Stretch

Hey everyone,

I’ve already ordered my Vibram FiveFingers, so I’m gonna get it soon.

Also, I’ve recently started stretching in order to enable myself to squat ATG.

However, I realize whenever I do the stretch (I basically squat down ATG while holding onto something), my knees hurt as hell. The pain goes away within 10 seconds or so, but DURING the stretch, I have sharp knee pain.

Is that ok? I guess it’s okay because I haven’T developed mobility/flexibility/hip musculature necessary for ATG squat…
