Yeah, I just don’t know where to go to get it checked out…orthopedics? I do bulgarian split squats. This just really sucks badly, cause I want to do my raw powerlifting meet in a few months.

You can go to your GP and get referred if that’s how your insurance works, otherwise going to an ortho directly would work. [/quote]

Great, I’m going to a foot specialist to get the little sugery done on my toe for ingrown toe nail…ive already got it done once on the other foot, and so yeah…it’s an orthopedic centre. He’s a specialist and he deals with foot pain, flat foot, knee pain, everything like that. So I’m definaetly going there and it’s within walking distance to my house!

which is great. I’m booking my appointment for next week and I’ll update you all on what it is, so perhaps anyone else with this pain of mine (same type of pain) I can help them out and give them info.

Wow, so I iced my leg last night for 20min. and I stretched my legs a lot, doing el0gic’s stretch that he posted and just some other stretches that I found on the net and the pain is almost completely gone! I guess my leg was just severealy overused and my band was really tight.

I’m sticking with the stretches and I’m going to use the foam roller on it and I’m just about to ice my leg right now again. Thanks a lot guys. Do you think I should still ask my ortho about the knee?

I was also going to ask because the popping and clicking is still there, what does this mean? I’ve had it like always…so I don’t know whether that can get fixed…when I squat down (only when my feet are placed in certain positions) squatting down it’ll “pop” in and out. But my feet have to be in a certain position, sometimes I want it to click and it won’t lol and yeah, it’s weird.

My knee feels completely better now, no pain. Although in certain position pop and click…but i remember it always being like that. But NO pain whatsoever at all, no matter what I do. If I keep icing and stretching can I squat tomrorow?

Sounds right to me. As a athletic trainer, we always told athletes that complained of popping or clicking,“If it doesn’t hurt then it doesn’t matter.”

Lots of people have noisy joints, it doesn’t necessarily mean that there is a problem.

Thanks a lot Doc, you’ve really helped me a lot and trust me it’s greatly appreciated. It feels all good, just iced and stretched it, and yeah it was just my band was tight. All good now!
