Knee Pain at Catch Position

Hi. Sometimes I get this sharp pain that shoots through my knees on the catch position on the snatch. The pain subsides almost immediately. Is this just me getting buried? or maybe divebombing the catch? Just curious if anyone else has felt this and is it something I should worry about?.


Does it happen any other time? Such as when you run, land from a jump, up/down stairs? Any previous injury? New to the workout or change anything recently?

It seems to only happen in the catch of the snatch. I never run or jump so I wouldn’t be able to say. No previous injury and it tends to happen on max or near max effort lifts. The pain subsides after a few seconds.
