Hey Everyone. So I decided to start my own training log since I am on here so much.
I am 6'2" and 275. I threw discus and hammer at a Division I school in undergrad, so I have a decedent amount of experience in the weight-room. Right now, my rep maxes are: Bench 373 (normal so no pause), Deadlift 525, and Squat 425. I am competing in my first powerlifting meet in August. It is a push/pull meet. This is the 2nd week of my 3rd cycle using the 5/3/1 program.
5 min elliptical
Active stretching and roller
Reverse Band Pause Bench (bands take 70 off bottom and 20 off top)
Flat Bench (no pause)
Flat Pause Bench for Speed
3x10 at 135
3x10 at 50
2x10 at 60
Chins (assisted cause I can't lift my fat as up)
Bench felt really strong today. My meet goal is around 350's so I am right on track.
