Kettle Bells Results?


This is my first post here. I am 8 days Pre-op For Gastric Bypass surgery and would like to start training again as soon as I can. Has anyone here used Kettle Bells with any great results. Also what do you combine with them. The first 4 to 6 months I will be dropping my extra fat and working on my cardio and gereral flexability along with some muscle building. Any help would be appriciated.


A friend of mine went from from 260 to 190 working KBs every morning. He’d warm up, then do 5 or 10 reps of a lift, run down his driveway and back, repeat with a different lift, and continue. after 5 or so circuits, cycling from harder to easier lifts as he tired, he was done.

It’s a very adaptable plan. Choose your favorite lifts, and add progression by working faster or adding more circuits, or rest and repeat the whole thing. It will get your metabolic rate up for sure.
