Keto diets and insulin resistance

I have a feeling that i’m insulin resistant.
would a ketogenic diet cause me to become more sensitive or complicate the matter more?

People eating the majority of their calories from carbs usually get more resistant to insulin, and this is a logic adaptation pathway. What I suggest to overweight friends of mine is to cut carbs completely for 2 weeks and then get a decent diet like 40-30-30. Your body has to learn how to use fat as energy again.

You will know when you are sensitive to insulin again when you will eat a full plate of pasta and fall asleep for the rest of the day!
