Kelly Baggett

Just wondering what you guys think about Kelly Baggett’s work when it comes to developing explosinvess and improving athletic ability.

Gary

ONE OR THE BEST RESOURCES THAT EXIST TODAY. Read all his stuff. Worth the effort for sure.

The guy is a genius for being able to combine all the aspects of training in the way that he does, his vertical jump bible is a musthave for all jump related sports, and, in my opinion, speed related sports as well.

Gary~

Guy gets it… period. Doesn’t swing too far off the deep end in either direction, and provides easy to understand answers to complex issues. The other guy worth reading every article by is Christian Thibaudeau from here… Both books are well worth the money.

JR, CSCS

JR,
thanks for the input. I, too, have felt that he does a good job explaining the rationale. As far as books are concerned, which ones would be good to have for explosive strength and athletic development? Same for CT’s books.

Btw, do these books go into different types of strength traits (such as relative strength, strength-speed, reactive etc) and do a good job?

Thanks,

Gary

yeah he makes it rediculously easy to understand the stuff when other people would be talking out of thier ass.

He defenately has the teaching ability that’s needed to be an effective coach.

His knowledge is great and tons of fantastic articles and info can be found in higher-faster-sports.com. His book, the Vertical Jump Development Bible is awesome. Very comprehensive.

Nick

All he does is repeat it buddy. Repeat, repeat, over & over again. Try the search next time you dill!

The way you guys talk about him, I’m gonna have to look him up

On another note, every time I see his name, I think of a porn star chick that I’ve seen before. Ok, i’m done

“If you enjoyed this information and found it informative, a much more detailed analysis on speed development and every other aspect of developing athletes will be available in my upcoming training manual, ?No Bull-Crap Sports Training”. Keep an eye out."

From one of his articles

I can’t wait for it.

EDIT: The article is in my thread called “The Simple Man” down the list.

yea that was a good article. a lot of that stuff is in his verticle jump bible and some other articles on his site. good read nonetheless.

I’ve been reading over some of Kelly Baggett’s articles online lately. Awesome stuff!
