Holy hell you did all that for arm day!!! Geezeee, what’s leg day look like? Nice work, hope you don’t have to scratch your back today.[/quote]
Dday leg day is intense and I usually want to puke during
Ok, I ended up doing my on plyo thing and not doing the Insanity cardio. That 2:30 a.m. wakeup is taking it’s toll! I’m planning on starting doing 2 a days twice a week, so I’ll do it tomorrow during my lunch.
I crashed hard last night…my eyes closed and next thing I’m hearing is the alarm to get up! lol!!!
Today was scheduled as leg day, but with the front coming in last night and my knee aching all day yesterday and still achy when I got up this morning, I decided to do arms and let the knee rest til Friday. I hit some PB’s today and that makes me happy!!!
So here’s the breakdown:
warm up stretching
in & out bicep curls - 15#/10 (PB) x2, 10#/6 x2
alternating standing shoulder press - 15#/10 x2 (PB)
2 arm tricep kickbacks - 10#/10 x2
break/50 jumping jacks
deep swimmers press - 15#/6 (PB) x2, 10#/4 x2
concentration curls - 15#/6 (PB) x2, 10#/4 x2
chair dips - 20 x2
break/50 jumping jacks
upright barbell rows - 40#/10 x2
rope tris - 20#/10, 25#/5 , 25#/10 (PB)
break/50 jumping jacks
front and side flys - 10#/10 x2
barbell curls - 30#/10 x2
break
bicep curls - 40#/10 x2
tricep extensions - 40#/10 x2
glutes - 190#/15 x3
adductions - 95#/15 x2
jumping jacks - 400
standing obliques - 50 each side
standing oblique twists - 50 each side
standing crunches - 50
I will finish up today with 100 HLRS and 400 more jumping jacks during my break and then at lunch I plan on doing Insanity’s cardio abs. That’s a 20 min HIIT DVD.
I’m super excited about this Saturday. I’m scheduled to get another tatoo They make me happy!!
Today was Insanity Pure Cardio…40 min of sweating…17 min HIIT plyo, 5 min yoga stretching, 17 min HIIT plyo and 5 min cool down…the website for this says you burn up to 1000 cals per workout depending on how hard you hit it…I can see that! I left sweat on the tile
The only thing I’m doing different next week is that instead of doing this workout first thing in the a.m., I’ll wait til my lunch break. I ran out of steam the last 17 min and had to force myself to keep moving.
Speaking of next week, I have decided to go back to the push/pull 12 week routine. I’m noticing I’m loosing some of my definition and I worked hard for that and don’t want to loose any. When Rick put me on this routine back in June, I saw tremendous gains. So, I am going back to it on Monday.
And the timing couldn’t be better for that actually. We are going to Daytona in February for some races and I have a day planned to lay on the beach. So this viseral (sp) fat needs to go!!! I only have 7 lbs to go to be back where I was in June so I’m not stressing it. The eats are super clean and the work is getting done!
