What’s that say about of education system…[/quote]

Yes and no. I hold the individuals responsible too. Even in Pitt’s article about morons from LA, no matter how good the schools they went to, these people are dolts. (We’ll ignore the fact this is a survey of 279 people, and it wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of people were confused seeing as it was asking about a hurricane 8 years old rather than Sandy that happened months before. Note that 17% of “very Liberal” also blamed Obama. So it is safe to say, a good portion of that 29% were mistaken, just like each of the 17%. http://www.scribd.com/doc/161910086/PPP-Louisiana-poll-August-2013 )

In the information age ignorance is a choice. These numbskulls could pick up a book or read something on the internet other than porn and cat pick and forgo one episode of Dancing With the Stars once in awhile in order ot learn something.

I’ve done it plenty of times myself, but at least today, I’m not going to blame teachers, schools or funding. I’m blaming the idiots for their lack of any sign of intelligent thought or desire to develop any.

It isn’t society’s job (public education) to drag someone kicking and screaming through the doors of enlightenment. People need to stand up and walk forward themselves, it is society that turns on the lights in the hallway…

I suppose, but if you have no interest in economics I doubt you’ll just pick up a book on Marx or economists through out history. Marx should be talked about in HS, imo along side Smith, Keynes (Sp?), etc… As far as I can remember not even Smith was mentioned for me.

I know. I was making fun of Pittbull’s random posting of the wiki page of Karl, who had clearly the least amount of comedic talent of all of the Marx brothers.

(I just know that somebody is going to inform me that Karl wasn’t a member of the Marx brothers.)

^ Lol, and now we wait…

Hey Man…HEY MAN…Karl was NOT one of the Marx Brothers!!!

“Although it is developed in the crude English style, this is a book which contains the basis of natural history for our views.”

Karl Marx on Darwin’s On the Origin of Species
December, 1860

I found this trailer while looking for Marx’s Manifesto. It was well done , some one obviously spent a lot of money on the production . The audio book is about an hour and a half , I will try and cut it and report back

ok man…hurry up.

It was nothing as nefarious as Mark Dice would have you believe .

There are 3 parts first part is an analysis of Capitalism (which I totally agree with

Second and third part were very historical. I think most people think Communism or living communally was invented by
Marx. Marx was simply a documentarian.

I personally think the so called right wants people to be afraid of Marx because he realizes labor’s full potential which would rest power from the capitaist.

I think the first part about 30 minutes is fucking great

Personally I think Cali would be a role model for many states in many areas . It would also be a glaring example of how some things should not be done

Karl Marx was not an economist.
