Just Started, Need to Bulk

Hello,

I am new to this forum and would like some advice.
Stats:
20 y/o
140 bw
6’ 1’’
Training for 4 weeks

Just need advice on a good program to gain strength and mass.

Here are my current lifts
Bench - 105lbs 3x5
Haven’t really squatted or dead lifted yet due to recent lower back problems.

I don’t think that he should do 5/3/1 with a 105 bench press and an unknown squat or deadlift. He needs to learn the lifts and do them more regularly than once a week right now.

The New Rules of Lifting by Alwyn Cosgrove and Lou Schouler worked for me.

Has a lot of variety with the lifts. It was fun. Good if you get bored easily.

I second this. Eggs have the DNA and life force of unborn chicklets inside. The chicklet fetus is essentially encapsulated in yoke which it is supposed to use for bulking, to grow so huge that it explodes out of the egg completely bulked, but you are getting to have this nutrition for yourself.

You can try reading some of the thousands of strength training articles and books on THIS site (some of which are specifically for the beginner, by CT, who lays it all out, and are tagged in THIS beginner’s forum),the net, bookstores, and libraries. You can also be a big boy, get off the 'net, and start meeting and training with and learning from bodybuilders LIVE, up close and personal.
