Nice top set on bench today. It felt pretty good. Reverse grip was really hard compared to last week, probably because I fatigued my triceps on flat bench. Lots of room for progress on some lifts here.

Dat dere bench progression. Soon you’ll be hitting 6+ reps with big boy weights, like 275 and up. Woot.

ur a sex machine.

Great day in the gym today. Fronts went really fast and my RDL top set was epic. I was shaking in music-motivated anticipation at the start of the set and absolutely crushed it. I may have a leg training partner three weeks from now. Could be interesting.

Thanks brobro. Hope you’re killing it in Knox. Wish I could sext you =/

Creeped on your last log. Been following this one too. Seems like every time I come in here, I see a PR, and some lulz, so good job. Keep it up, and any advice you ever want to shoot my way, I’ll be glad to take.

Curious, how tall are you, and what do you weight now (obvi not 165)?

I got into a pretty serious car accident Saturday morning. I had gotten off work and spent an hour or so at an afterparty with friends before heading to IHOP. After eating there I noticed a little girl who I thought needed some help. At this point it was 5 AM. She said she was homeless and needed a ride to Oklahoma City. I am not as big of a douche as I portray myself in my training logs so I agreed to help her as it was only supposed to be about a thirty minute car ride. I was completely wrong.

This 20 year old dumb bitch had no idea where she lived. I spent an hour and a half driving around trying to find either of her parents’ houses. She was rude, smelly and smoked three cigarettes in my friend’s car. It was ridiculous. After all that fruitless searching I wound up dropping her off at a hospital.

At this point, it was around 6:30 AM and I’d been up for 23 consecutive hours. I was not thinking straight and was driving poorly. Somehow, I made it to my girl’s neighborhood around 7 AM. I missed the turn and thinking irrationally decided to try to cut to the right while going 45 MPH. I wound up driving straight into a neighborhood wall.

The airbag detonated, the hood crumpled and the wall was demolished. In my state of sleep-deprived delirium and shock I ran from the scene to my girl’s house which resulted in an inquisitive neighbor calling the cops on me. As it stands right now, my friend had no third-party insurance on his 2008 Honda Civic and I owe 1400 dollars for a brick wall. I have 1800 dollars in my bank account with all school expenses taken care of by scholarship. My parents are refusing to help me. I am truly screwed.

…and that’s why I didn’t lift Saturday! lol. Sternum was killing me from the airbag and seat belt. I’m feeling a lot better today though. No whiplash at all…lifting weights pays off!

That sucks man. Things will get better even if it doesn’t look that way.

Damn dude, tough break. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

Like spar4tee said, things will get better and you will bounce back.

Good day in the gym. I wasn’t expecting much with the events of the weekend but I’d say I killed it. I’m coming down with some type of illness but I’m still going to keep crushing it this week. On the positive side of things, I had my first ever Big Mac today and it was awesome!

Haha I creep your log too bro. Sad truth is I haven’t hit a real PR in almost a year but I appreciate the nice words. At a minimum I’m bigger and more muscular than I’ve ever been before so that counts for something.

I am 5’9 and between 190-195 lbs. I haven’t weighed myself consistently since winter break so I’m not sure.

Thanks bro. I know they will, just a bit hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. My financial independence is completely shot and my parents think I’m lying about helping the homeless girl. The first thought that came to my girl’s mind when she heard that story was that I was fucking another chick and lying to her. It really shows me how people view me I guess…sucks.

Lol, that was exactly the thought that was going through my head as I was driving that girl around. I just thought the punishment would be lack of sleep.

I honestly can’t wait to get back to Omaha and de-stress next week.

Deadlifts were great. I got a lot of stares while doing them which I found hilarious. I was sweating my ass off while lifting because I’m running a fever. Good lift regardless. On an awesome note, once my parents found out the accident bill will be in the range of 7-8k rather than 2-3k they were much more willing to help me out. So…life isn’t looking so down anymore. I have a big Physics 2 exam tomorrow and after that I’ll be over the hump and on my way to a relaxing spring break.

I figure the new log needs a picture of me to prove I actually lift. I think my bodyweight is somewhere between 190-195 lbs. I feel more muscular than ever though I’ve been getting really flat after undereating on the weekends. I’m throwing a lot more ‘not on the plan/IIFYM’ food choices into the mix. I think it’s working for me.

Legs and back are doing just fine. Legs have awful shape though and lats are really high. I think I might look like Stan Efferding if I ever fill out.

Damn dude, you’re a lot denser then I thought. And quite lean. Do you do any cardio, or are you just pretty knowledgeable of your body at this point and know what macros work for you?

mirin a little bit.
