I just finished watching the 2002 World’s Strongest Man finals, and to my suprise it was dedicated to Johnny Perry who passed away last month. I don’t know how many of you follow strongman, but this guy was an absolute stud, and from everything I’ve heard, also a very nice man. You can check out the story here. http://www.strongestman.com/jp.shtml R.I.P Johnny.
It’s just too bad the human heart isn’t capable of pumping blood to a 400 lb. body without overwork to the point of damage. From everything I’ve seen he was a great guy.
Wow, that’s a bit of a shocker. I just saw Perry compete at the American Championship in Kokomo, Indiana about a year and a half ago. He not only had the biggest arms that I’ve ever seen in my life, but he also was truly a really nice guy. You’ll be missed, Johnny. R.I.P.
Yeah, I saw that too, and was really surprised. I was rooting for that guy throughout his trials. He seemed cool.
