I know you recommend drinking gatorade mixed with water during your workout, but is it possible to sip on some fruit juice diluted in water throughout your workout?
its certainly “possible” but not beneficial (unless you consider gas and GI cramps a benefit).
Where can I find that article on the gatorade. Is it just diluting the gatorade or do you use the mix?
It wasnt an article, it was just mentioned on this forum before by JMB. I think it was 1.5 liter of water mixed with some powered gatorade, 1 scoop of Power Drive, and 5g of glutamine.
I just wanted to chime in on the gatorade reccomendation. Yes, you use like 30g of carbs from the gatorade, and dilute it in water. I’ve found this to be one of the most benificial things I’ve learned from JMB. I seem to recover twice as fast when drinking the carbs during my workouts. I would imagine it’s because it keeps cortisol in check while lifting. I highly reccomend it.
