Jelly Bicep After Workout

I’m a beginner at working out started about 2 months ago. What I’ve realized is that some days, afterworking out, my biceps feel full, hard, and strong. I showed my girlfriend and she was like whoa they do feel hard. Other days, after working out and doing pretty much the same routine (chest and curls) my biceps feel super week and feel like jelly during and immediately after the work out. Is this jelly feel a good or bad thing? Am I overtraining them? Are my biceps suppose to feel hard after a workout or soft?

My last session was two days ago and my biceps still feel softer than they did before that session. Before that session they felt a bit harder fuller I was feeling like I was doing something right. Right now-- squishier and I’m not sure how long the squishy feeling will last but I feel like I did something wrong. In my last session I did flat bench, incline bench, then incline seated hammer curls, then standing curles, and my biceps half way through changed completely from feeling hard to feeling like some damn marshmellows. It’s just really frustrating not knowing if I’m messing myself up or not.

Biceps eh? Gotcha.

Nothing viagra won’t solve. wink

You’re fine–that jelly feeling happens sometimes. Often it’s related to bloodflow or some circulation issue, or just the muscle being fatigued.

Try not to worry about things like “my bicep feels hard” at this point–just focus on maintaining proper form and increasing the weight you are using.

Seems legit.

I also vote for the viagra.

You’re overtraining. Your advanced enough now that you need to follow a split like this:

Day 1: Chest
Day 2: Curls
Repeat
