James Henderson 10 Minutes to 6 Vid

I’d never heard of this guy before. Aside from the absurd amount of weight he can handle, I was blown away by how quickly he moved from set to set. One of the most impressive feats of strength ever. He also comes across cool as shit. Have no idea when this is from, but the vid looks early to mid 90’s.

He’s a strong dude, for sure. I like his attitude, too.

See his close grip bench video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByH0zMx6gkA&feature=related It’s amazing how strong a guy can get. Makes me want to go back to the friggin’ gym!

“Build your own gimmick and hype.”

I did. He’s apperantly close to 400lbs. Even so he handles 5-hundo really easily on that close grip. Come to think of it he handles ALL weights he touches really easily. Guy is freakishly strong.

He also benched over 700 under ipf conditions, sans shirt.

Tags is right. Henderson was the previous raw bench king before Mendelson. The video was from Powerlifter Video Magazine.

I remember seeing a picture of him in PLUSA benching a god-awful amount of weight at a strength expo in Europe somewhere with a girl perched on his knee. Unreal strength…

Not to take anything away from mendelson, but apperantly Henderson’s 700+ was paused. Does anyone know what his squat and dead were or was he a bench specialist?

I saw this video about 2 months ago, this guy is fucking unreal.

Ive only seen a handfull of people handle that kind of weight for reps. Him, Nick winters, Ryan kennelly, Glen chabot, Arthur jones and Mike seigler. Im sure there are more, these are just off the top of my head.

He was a bench specialist, ive never even heard of him doing squats or deads. Might be due to the fact that he blew out his knee playing college ball.

The first thing I thought when I saw the vid was “Why didn’t someone put this dude on their line?” He handles these weights easier than anyone I’ve ever seen. Every rep just sails up.

Wow… that’s a pretty intense workout for sure… he’s 400+lbs? so Lb for pound… would that not be like a 200lbs man lifting 300lbs? or does it not work that way?

No. It doesn’t work that way.

Mendelson- who weighs less and handles similar weights- may be relatively stronger, but the facts are no one has ever made weights this big look so easy. From here he looks like the best raw bencher ever.

I’m just bein’ an ass… lol

Gotta love a dude who makes those weights look that easy wearing jewellry.

And jokin around, too bad he didn’t have whipped cream on his face or he’d have tossed up even more weight!

I also love his line “why mess around with the small change when you can go for the big dollars…”

he’s fucking huge, he makes it look like he has 6 25lb plates on a mini olympic bar.

The guy is a physical freak. He also sounds like a complete idiot.

that is exactly the reason why i always watch training videos with the sound turned off.
