I thought it might be time to start one of these while I work on my squat and olympic lifts. I'm not very good at sharing my training but I hope to keep the log up. I'm going to try and not be such an introvert with my training. One of my new year's resolutions this year was to get out of my basement and I did get out but I haven't trained at the gym for weeks now. So I still need to push myself out the door. Moar!
I started the lifts in February and have moved to training just squats, snatches and clean and jerk and little else.
My squat is decent but I want it stronger.
My snatches are coming along but I'm being conservative with the weight so I don't hurt myself and get shitloads of reps in for practice practice practice.
My cleans are alright but I haven't been giving them enough work because I'm obsessed with getting a the snatch working. I did a couple of snatches that felt REALLY nice, like the weight just flew up on it's own and landed perfectly with me underneath! And I want to do that again.
I'll post some videos and this past weeks training.
I'll post my PRs as I get them from here on because I'm not going to count any of my rotten lifts of the past count. For the lifts I'm about form first so I'm trying to convince myself not to get hung up on the numbers.
