This would have to be collusion on an epic level.
The sheer amount of people that would have to be involved, and therefore paid off is staggering.

A whole bunch of people would leak. We’re talking tens of thousands of people here, and new ones added each day.

Is the NFL the contemporary circuses of the dreaded “bread and circuses”? Yes. But we’ve done it to ourselves this time around.

The NFL makes 9 billion a year. They have a goal of making 25 billion a year in like 10 years or something. There absolutely no reason to fix anything. It’s fun to watch, there is drama, it’s emotional, and if you understand the game it is fucking badass. There are two teams from some City in the US that play for the title in the biggest single game event in sports every year.

There is no official report saying there is only 1 ball deflated. As of right now there were 11 out of 12 balls under legal air pressure officially.

The Seattle pass play in the Superbowl was just a really dumb call and possibly the worst call in sports history. Who in their right mind would agree to do that? Head Coaches associated with a call like that are flirting with career suicide.
On this note, think about how much it would cost the NFL to fix a game. HUGE payoffs to the losers would be in order

I bet you’d find a fair number of NFL players that didn’t have a price, especially in the Superbowl. Once you make millions a year, a championship could easily mean more than any amount of money.

No, no, the games in the circuses are not fixed, and the bread is of the highest quality. Back to sleep, citizens. The emperor has everything under control.
