Is My Shake Recipe Overkill?

this is the recipe

1 frozen Banana
1 cup of milk
1 cup of oats
1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter
2 scoops of Vanilla Protein
2 Egg Whites
1 tABLESPOON OF cottage cheese
a couple shakes of Cinnamon
creatine
bcaas

all blended for 2 or three minutes

this is my breakfast shake, i usually take a shot of apple cider vinegar a half hour before and i usually sip this while getting ready to leave, maybe 2 hours to finish the whole thing

so is this overkill?

Here’s mine:

Protein powder
oats
water
1 banana
1 cup mixed berries
superfood
coconut oil
peanut butter
flaxseed
cinnamon
creatine

Washed down with 2 flameouts

I guess it would depend on your current goals.

My breakfast is generally as follows.

16 ounces skim milk
Half cup oats
One banana
Handful of berries
One scoop Superfood
Two scoops protein powder
One tablespoon Fibersure

Supplements with breakfast as follows.

Two fish oil soft gels
One 3/6/9 soft gel
One Rez-V
One multi
One glucosamine/msm

Overkill for what?

My New, Improved, and Beyond 1.5k shake

3 scoops whey
2 cups milk
1 cup water
2 tbs peanut butter
1 tbs strawberry jam
1 cup oats
4 tbs flax meal
1 scoop Lean Dessert Banana Nut flavor
1 banana

Add enough ice to keep a penguin comfortable and enjoy. This bad boy is the shit!

Wow, a two-hour shake.

It might be over kill, as cabre said, it depends or ur goals

there like 1 cup of liquid in that recipe… do you drink this or chew this? I’d add more milk.

I might get shit for it, but what the hell, here’s my favorite shake.

4-5 scoops mint-chocolate chip ice cream (the full-fat, real sugar stuff)
1 Scoop of Grow!
1 Scoop of Vanilla Metabolic Drive
1 unflavored gelatin packet
A splash of Bailey’s (how much is a splash? Up to you.)
Whole milk to finish

It’s not a shake for the weak.

What, no vodka? tisk tisk you’re slacking senior rockula

I wouldn’t think so but as mentioned it depends on your goals.

My shake:

1 cup heavy cream
1 cup yogurt
1 cup frozen mixed berries
3 whole eggs
1 banana
2 tablespoons honey
2 scoops whey

Comes out so thick I almost need to chew it.

Now we’re talkin. Gotta have enough stuff to get ya through the morning.

Mine

1 cup 4% fat cottage
1 cup blended oats (blend the oats alone)
1 banana
1 cup frozen berries
1/4 cup almonds
1 cup of whatever yogurt is sitting in the fridge
1 scoop GROW whey

blend with milk and ice to desired consistency.

Superfood, protein, Power Drive, tang/lemonade mix, water

enough with the nonsense

1 scoop protein is not enough…

Dunno how it can be overkill. I use to have the same shake but more milk and whole eggs every morning.

Here’s mine:

4 eggs whites
1 scoop of whey
1.5 cups of oats
1 cup of berries
1 - 2 tbsps of Flax oil
1 - 2 tbsps of ANPB
5g creatine

Yum…

I think it’s fine… depending on your goals…

Aren’t you supposed to have Power Drive on an empty stomach?
