Is it Support or Worshipping of Obama?

The reactions one both sides have been disconcerting at times.

Most of the people for Obama and I do mean MOST on my campus are fanatical about him. I have a McCain shirt and whenever I wear it I get Yelled at.

This is in class, on the street etc. I am sure that some of my professors are bias toward him to and my shirt pissed them off. It is crazy its like if you don’t support their candidate then your not American?

I couldn’t put a bumper sticker on my car because I’m sure it would have been keyed. Anyway those socialist are crazy about their candidate. They can’t wait for him to cut army funding and give them more welfare state services.

So now we’re calling fellow Americans socialists, too?? The things you mention happen on both sides…neither side holds a monopoly on stupidity. Reinforcing it doesn’t help either.

I hope he can cut Army funding by keeping these soldiers from buying Chargers and Escalades with monster truck rims and platinum grills, chains, and belt buckles.

Maybe he can help by weeding out the thugs that occupy the U.S.Army…thats wasted tax dollars,IMO. Sorry you had to take on my rant…nothing personal.

That’s ok. But I’m still waiting on my Escalade with monster truck rims.

You’ll understand when you make your way to Fort Hood.

HaHa my roommate was there for AIT. He said there wasn’t anything but heat and a couple of narsty strip clubs. (He turned 21 when he was there so he has some fucked up stories.)

LOL…I’m sure I can back almost everything he says about Killeen.[/quote]

I wouldn’t say it is fear mongering given most of his supporter are so in denial or entranced the only way to reach them is to shock them.

But I feel he will do enough of that himself over the next four years.

I see he is starting to bring his Chicago Cohorts so I imagine he will start to gradually move into his more leftist agenda. Unless he takes it slow to get a second term.

I strongly suspect the current fanaticism will wane in the face of reality. Honestly, he will not be able to fulfill the dreams of many people that they expect. I have heard smatterings of comments from a hand full a blacks talking about how they will be able to get jobs now, of they won’t have to pay for their house and insurance, etc. If they are expecting this man to be a Jesse Jackson/ Al Sharpton type entitlements, they are going to be pissed off in the end.

All of this remains to be seen…until then…relax…that’s my point. Everyone’s already hyperventilating before he even has the chance to show ANY of us what kind of president he’s going to be. “New” wears off for everyone. If he’s a CLEAR CUT fuck up…so be it.

But don’t assume that everyone that voted for him is going to blindly make excuses for him if that’s the case. I’m sure as hell am not. I’m sure a percentage of people who voted for Bush can understand where I’m coming from…are you one of them??
