Anybody know? I see it written both ways. I’m fond of UBL, but that’s just me.
Seems like I read somewhere that the real spelling is U but pronounced O, hence the OBL misspelling. But my memory is foggy at best.
They are both right believe it or not. Apparently (what I heard on the news years ago) is that the translation is not perfectly an O or U. Either one really fits.
Translations are never perfect. Different languages use different “letters”, for example one language (I forget which) has three L’s.
