It seems to me like he might be full of shit, but maybe I am missing something.

That’s just a Senator being a Senator. It’s now his state that is suffering so it becomes important. Ho hum…you think any of these guys really care? Did you hear Hillary at the Benghazi hearings? “What difference does any of this make now” was her response. Yeah…we get it Hillary those four men are dead because you screwed up but it doesn’t matter now ho hum on with the business of trying to become President.

Most of them make me sick…

Cruz is a pretty big hypocrite on numerous things although he is far from the only person to be against emergency help until his/her state needs it. Everyone is against government action until the government action is going to benefit them. Then most people change their tune.

So he down votes a pork laden bill, to which the people adding said pork should be recalled because they are the lowest form of scum… Then turns around and asks for the same relief that he would had supported if not for the pork, and is called a hypocrite.

No surprise the left is frothing at the mouth over this. To actually understand what happened takes thought. And thought would prevent the cries of “hypocrite”.

Can you quote this? Specifically the part where he would have voted for the Hurricane Sandy relief measures if it wasn’t part of a pork barrel?

And

â??Hurricane Sandy inflicted devastating damage on the East Coast, and Congress appropriately responded with hurricane relief. Unfortunately, cynical politicians in Washington could not resist loading up this relief bill with billions in new spending utterly unrelated to Sandy.

â??Emergency relief for the families who are suffering from this natural disaster should not be used as a Christmas tree for billions in unrelated spending, including projects such as Smithsonian repairs, upgrades to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration airplanes, and more funding for Head Start.

â??Two-thirds of this spending is not remotely â??emergency’; the Congressional Budget Office estimates that only 30% of the authorized funds would be spent in the next 20 months, and over a billion dollars will be spent as late as 2021.

â??This bill is symptomatic of a larger problem in Washington â?? an addiction to spending money we do not have. The United States Senate should not be in the business of exploiting victims of natural disasters to fund pork projects that further expand our debt.â??

That web page is shitty though, it’s loading all funny for me.

Kinda refreshing to hear hypocrite, the racism shtick was getting a bit old.
