Anyone know whether free form amino acids derived from soy protein are as good as those derived from whey, and do they carry the harmful effects of soy? Brian
If two amino acids have the same name then yes they are the same thing. One should caution of course that the same amino acid can have either L or R in front of it which represents its sterochemical configuration and not its atomic makeup. All amino acids required by humans are of the L type. On that note, free form amino acids derived from soy would be the same as those from whey and would not contain any of the other bad soy stuff assuming the product is pure.
Does this mean that the quality of a FFAA supplement is solely determined by the identity of the various aminos, their quanity and their ratio?
