Anyone here have experience with these. My main concern is how the handle thickness compares to regular kettlebells.

I’ve used them. They are nice. In fact, had they been around when I first purchased some kbells (from Dragondoor), I would have bought these! They are much less expensive, are shaped well and the handle is similar in thickness to Dragondoor (slightly thinner, but not much).

Coach Davies sells them on his site and is always offering special deals. He recently had deals on pairs of the Iron Woody Kbells from 30-40lbs with free shipping. That offer is gone now, but if you check his site often, I’m sure you’ll find another deal in the future. Free shipping is a nice savings.

Did you use the 5.8 or the 7.3 inch diameter bells?

Hmmm…good question. I’m not sure. Since they were slightly smaller than the Dragondoor kbells, maybe they were 5.8. I was using 40lb kbells, so I’m not sure if they come with a standard grip size or not.

From the looks of the pictures on the IronWoody site, the smaller diameter bells have a slightly smaller handle too.

Thanks for the Coach Davies info. His site has bands I’ve been eyeballing today too.

Wait for a good package deal on any of his products. That’s the best time to buy. Like I said, they just had a great kbell offer a few weeks ago. Wait a couple more weeks and I bet he’ll have some new deals for kbells, Iron Woody bands and/or the Xvest.
