IPO National Champs '07

So I did ANOTHER competition over the weekend, my 3rd in 7 weeks. 2 powerlifting and 1 oly lifting. This was without a doubt the best of them all. (the IPO is like the Irish USPF)

I came out with a 590kg total at 90kg (I weighed in at 87.8kg). That’s 1300lb at 198lb. I was super stoked with it.

Squat: 220kg (485lbs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL_dl4w52XM

Bench: 155kg (342lbs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPFEKCStTGA

Deadlift: 215kg (475lbs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRW3NdQrzKs

I was a bit bummed about the deadlift but I was totally gassed by the time it came to pull and to be honest it was probably a bit over trained. Something to be aware of next time tho!!

So now it’s time for me to take a well earned rest and start the build up to the world drug free powerlifting championships in November.

Awesome lifting mate. Thats a nice total.

Nice work bro

Phill

good job. keep working at it

Nice work. But what the hell did you do the other 4 weekends? Slacker

Congrats

What are your raw lifts? Just wondering.

Thanks guys.

HK, not too sure bro.

I reckon about 190/130/220.

I came in over trained on my deadlift, I’d pulled a fairly easy 220kg as a 3rd attempt 5 weeks before hand.

Hanley, nice job at the meet. Sounds like you are due for a little down time. Solid work, keep it up.

Good job Hanley!

Aight.

And you don’t do all 3 in a single session!

Good job again!
