I find it odd that the study saw no benefits for women. Were they training strenuously enough, or was the study done on the pink dumbells toning group?

I don’t know they don’t give any detail. I found that disturbing as well. I think both groups would see a diff. It would be interesting to find out which group is more prone to parkinsons to begin with.
There’s a variety of factors going on, but at face value it’s just intriguing.
