Interesting discussion on fast food lawsuits

Below is a link that, some of you, may find interesting. It is a discussion on the fast food lawsuits from the BBC web site, and offers both a European and US perspective on them, and to a lesser extend American culture as a whole.

I think this is ridiculous, but check out this link about the Coffee case a few years back, I remember studying this in a B law class and you do not get all the facts in the press. Right or wrong, it offers a different perspective.

Have to agree with Kayrob. The old lady who had 2nd & 3rd degree burns to her thighs & privates because of the coffee being hotter than industry standards. So hot that the temperature of the cup made it soft causing the burns.

With the truck driver while I agree that these companies make food which taste so damn good it doesn’t take away from the fact that you can’t eat as much as you want. Hell he should sue the government for not advertising that you must burn an equal amount of calories ingested or you will gain weight.

Sheeeesh, what’s next, suing tobacco companies for lung cancer…? Croooz
