Well it’s about that time that I made my own training log. Feel free to follow me on my quest to super strength and a physique to match.

It’ll be less plain when things actually get started.

I suppose I should tell a little about myself. I’m 17 and a college freshman. I’ve been training seriously for 2 years but I started being physically active when I was 11 after getting a little chunky at 10. I’m an aspiring powerlifter/strength athlete who likes and follows bodybuilding.
Things I like:
powerlifting
manga/anime
bodybuilding
hawt gurlz
hawt ladeez
strength sports
music
physics
movies
video games
shades
predatory animals
Things I hate:
pledges (inside joke)
ignorant people that believe they aren’t
pussies that think they aren’t
gnats
jk I don’t hate anything

No inside joke about it, I hate pledges as well.

I was one once, Lord I hated myself.

Welcome aboard Dixie

Squats
275x5
315x5
added knee sleeves
365x1
405x1
445x1 (technical fuck up on my part resulting in marginal knee pain)
added belt (for the FIRST time)
475x1 EASY
485x1 EASY
Belts are frickin magic. It’s like a whole nother lift entirely. The guy I was squatting with said I was good for 500, but I didn’t want to push it today with my knee slightly bugged.
Deads
155x5ish
240x5ish
305x5ish
340x4ish
425x3ish
465x1
DB rows
80x10
90x10
100x10
110x10
120x10
all sets were as easy as the first for some reason
Pullups

I’ve decided to do the Show of Strength at my school. It’s a legit powerlifting meet scheduled for early November. I’ll see about registration tomorrow.

Glad you got out before retooling was complete.

Forgot to mention the 475 and 485 squats and the 120x10 db rows were all PRs

I’ll be following brother, nice to see you have a log!

Edit: Beastly squats too man, good shit.

Thanks for dropping in. I never knew what a difference a belt could make. Almost feels like I stole strength from someone else haha.

More info
height: 5’8
weight: 210
bf%: 13-15%

Good stuff. Following.

Welcome

I got 225x1 last week on military press, so today the plan is to work up to 225 for a double. If I’m not feeling it, I’ll just do reps with a lighter weight. After that dumbell inclines, seated presses, and maybe flats. Not sure if I want to bench today. Oh yeah and face pulls A LOT of face pulls.

If anyone has any advice for meet preparation, that would be great. I’m not gonna OCD over how well I’ll do. I just want to finally do a meet.

Probably won’t be able to lift until after 5 which is cool. I actually prefer it sometimes. I’ll get see some people I wasn’t able to see last week.

You’re 17? Damn dude, crazy strong!
I’m in.

Welcome. This’ll be my last week as a minor.

Initiation is a great way to finish pledgeship, if I do say so myself.

Nice squatting.

Meet prep, like how to schedule lifting leading up to it?
