Injury While Doing Snatch High Pulls


I seem to have injured my left rear delt area while performing Snatch High Pulls. It hurts just sitting here typing. Any pulling aggravates it. I don't feel any direct pain from pressing, but the pain is still there.

Please let me know if this is not specific enough. If anybody has heard of this or had this happen I would more than appreciate any advice.



I'm no expert, but my guess is your external rotators were weak, they got injured with the snatch. Can you externally rotate your arm?

EDIT: Just saw that it was a snatch high pull, forget what I said above LOL
