Injury and Staying Active

I’m taking a quinolone, of which the major side effect is tendon ruptures, so I have to back off on lifting. I was in the middle of a 3rd cycle of 5/3/1. Anyone got suggestions on how to stay active and not lose too much strength? I’ve been biking and using the elliptical (first time in years), but I’m worried about losing strength and mass.
