i just set a deadlift new pr about two weeks ago, and everything was just doing fine… but last friday while doing deadlift i get my self injured… (i think i didnt warm up enough, because the bar dosnt have too much weight…
i couldnt walk for two days, (i have a contracture) and i getting better… i think am gonna rest this week…
the question is that i finish my first leader week, do i have to do again the first week? or pick up where i left it? i mean the second week?
sorry to ask this, am really sad couse´i get injured, i was doing so good… i learned the lesson, i have to warm ok and not trust the weight!
When there is injury to the extent that you cannot walk due to performing a given exercise, you should consider seeing a doctor to get clearance for how to get back to doing that exercise. Especially for something like a deadlift (if it were curls, for example, I’d have a different response). Obviously, we can give you general advice - ease back into it, warm up, progress slow, make sure you’re TM is correct - but it would be inappropriate to give you the green light or even a protocol on how to start back with your condition.

am aware of that, am gonna go to the doctor tomorrow, am feeling very good today, so i dont think is very bad… the only doubt that i have is what to do with my leader…
