Injecting Sub Q

I couldn’t find the answers to these questions.

Anyway, so suppose I want to inject sub Q. How do you get the oil through a 29 or 31 guage needle? Also aren’t the insulin needles only 1/2 cc? That would make for tiny injections, but maybe they would be so slight that you could do more than one a week.

I’ve also heard people drawing with one guage (22 for example) and injecting with another. Not sure how that would be done exactly. Do you switch the actual needle piece between drawing and injecting?

Yes - most come with a Luer type lock mechanism and just screw off - but not insulin needles. Those you would have to back fill.
