Hi, I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some good articles/discussions along the lines of nutrition. Basically I want to learn about how the body digests certain foods and why we eat certain things at certain times (referring to macronutrient ratios etc).
But more than just the basics, I want to know the specifics of breaking down the muscle and feeding it, so I can give an explanation as to why I do what I do and eat how I eat when I refuse unhealthy foods that get shoved in my face by family, friends etc.
First post here, been training for about 4 years, but I may as well not have bothered doing anything for the first 3 as I’ve only been training seriously for less than a year. I discovered this site just a few months ago. I know there is a hell of a lot of information on here, just hope I can get what I’m looking for!
