I read one of Berardi’s articles on postworkout nutrition and how if you can create an insulin spike along with getting BCAA’s into your blood, protein synthesis can increase “400%”. But does anyone know how long that will actually last?
Until the food is digested (so not long). Best to eat again soon after (about an hour after PWO shake).
I remember seeing a graph in one of JB’s articles showing this. After 25-35 minutes it tapered off significantly, which is why you should eat a PWO meal about 45 minuets to a hour after Surge like Lanky said.
