If You Put a Skinny Powerlifter on a BB Split?

THIS IS NOT A FUKIN MYOBRIAFILIAR vs SARMOPLASMA or whatever the hell you call it.

Like everybody else, I saw in the past a couple a skinny/athletic dude with some good number on the big lift. On youtube you can see a lot of dude who barely look like they lift put are pushing the 350+ squat, deadlift 400+, etc with ease. Same case for olympic lifter. skinny athletic dude who lift big weight.

If we put on of those guy on a BB split, would they explode comparatively to a guy the same size as them, but less strong? Cause lets say they benchpress 305x8 and the other dude bench 225x8, the stress on their chest would feel the same? dont know if you understand what I mean. Would the first guy will just only need more weigth too grow than the other guy?

Discuss.

I like bacon.

bacon is so anabolic!!

So squatting 350+ and deadlifting over 400 is strong? The problem isnt size vs strength, rather its people think they are putting up strong numbers when they arent.

People always think “man i can bench 225 but the size just isnt there”. Yeah, its because you gotta bench 325 before you see a full chest

I saw a lot of dude in the gym with good muscular developpement(17inch arms relatively lean.) pushing barely 225 on the bench and squatting quarter squat with 315… and I saw people a couple of stronger dude but less developed. I asked if you put those stronger but smaller dude on a BB split would they develop faster.

No, it has to be 350 exactly!

17" arms pushing 225 would be pretty average for regular gym goers where I’m from. I don’t consider all of those people who don’t even look like they lift “serious gym goers” usually.

I also don’t care to spend pages fighting about how strong small guys can be.

I don’t see why they should.

Why should it help someone to grow biceps at a faster rate just because he squats more?

Why do you constantly insist on missing the point?

Not that this is a quality thread but still…

What are you talking about? Who say squat help bicep grow?

VIDS of a dude who got a total of 1000+ barely looking like he lift… tons of dude like this on youtube

Dude look good, but I see kid bigger than him lifting less

365kg deadlift, dude got barely 17.5 inch arms

It would appear he MISSED THE POINT.

LOL.

Ryan and Infinite…fails for life.

Again, the guy is big but not that huge. I saw guy(yes, on the juice) Bigger than him stuggling to pull 315 squat at my gym

Dude, there is a rather HUGE freaking difference between doing a weight for a few reps where the goal is simply to get the weight in the air…and actually using certain exercises to truly focus on specific muscle groups.

When I curl a dumbbell, the goal is NOT to simply curl it. It is to make sure my biceps is getting most of the force and that I do enough reps to promote growth.

You are again arguing small guys can be strong as if we need to be reminded about technique and bone structure or genetic ability.

Neural output is key for strength.

When maximal strength is up, so are numbers in reps ranges for mass.

No Im not man. Im just asking if we take the skinny strong dude and put him on a BB split, higher rep range, ,etc. Would he explode more than a guy the same size as him, but weaker, on a similar split?

Thinking about it, I don’t think I missed the point but can’t be arsed to explain.
