If you could choose only 4 workouts (non-cardio) to do for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
Here are my choices:
- Deadlifts
- Pull Ups
- Squats
- Press Ups
If you could choose only 4 workouts (non-cardio) to do for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
Here are my choices:
did you mean 4 workouts? or 4 movements?
4 movements:
1)cleans
2)pushups
3)pullups
4)overhead presses
Yeah, 4 movements I guess, so:
1- front squat
2- bb clean
3- deadlift
4-overhead press
1-Deadlift
2-Power Clean and Press
3-Front Squats
4-Chin Ups
Done and done…
Flies, squats, oh press and bench. But then my favourite exercises change quite regularly
#1-Deadlift
#2-Squat
#3-Bent Row
#4-Bench
1 dumbbell bench
2 Lat pulldown (narrow,neutral handle)
3 Seated Military
4 Hack Squat Machine
Snatch
Power clean
Back squat
Deadlift
Is a complex only one exercise? If so:
Exercise 1
BO Row
(Snatch grip) RDL
Power Snatch/Power Clean(depending if Sn grip RDL or not)
OH Squat/Front Squat(depending if Sn grip RDL or not)
OH Press
Back Squat/Jump Squat
Exercise 2
Curtis Ps
Exercise 3
Pull-ups
Exercise 4
Push-up plus
Deads
Squats
Pullups
Bench
Four is too limiting. If I had to:
I would love to up it to 6 though, in order to have
Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press, Pullups
I’ve got dumb injuries so I can’t do the cool exercises.
Sprint
Box squat slightly above parallel
Weighted chins/pull-ups
Bench
Don’t do any dedicated springing outside of playing ball, but if I can only do 4 things forever you better believe sprinting is one of 'em. And, even though it might be breaking the rules you could add bands, chains etc to the squat and bench and boards to the bench giving you a pretty solid routine you could cycle through forever.
Now I should just force myself to those 4 exercises I listed as hard as I can.
^^The first one made me wonder, then the second one let me know it was likely a joke. The pink dumbbells removed all doubt.
