This is a completely hypothetical post, keep that in mind.
If the United States were a dictatorship and you just happened to be the King (or Queen), what would be one thing you would change about the United States?
Lets say America is in the exact same state as it is today. What is it you would change?
I would give back many of the federally-assumed responsibilities back to the states.
I would remove from positions of power in the government all members of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). Of course, I’d then have very few people left…
BTW: I was bummed when I found out Condi was in CFR. Just another globalist traitor…
I’d send a particular Ohio math teacher to Guantanamo.
I’d legalize it!
Surely you gents mean Matt Hughes, the UFC guy who was a math teacher here? Not poor old HH!!!
Feel the love…
make gear legal and turn the US into thailand of gear.
of course gear would not only be legal, it would be encouraged to prevent sarcopenia later in life.
lengthen maternity/paternity leave
lastly, create cycle leave
floripa

I suspect the above is a preliminary move toward re-legalizing slavery, reviving the plantation economy in the southern states, doing something about that “Brown vs. Board of Education” decision, overturning abortion, allowing prayer (but only Christian prayer) in public schools, and requiring all school age children to watch “Gone With The Wind” and read John Crowe Ransom. Dui bu dui?

…Wah? Umm… what in the hell does the issue of federalism, in this day and age, have to do with any of that? Slavery, plantations, segregation, and requiring children to watch pro-Confederate movies would not happen, regardless of how much power you give South Carolina to govern itself…
The abortion issue would vary from state to state, and the prayer thing has been declared unconstitutional by the US supreme court.
Wanna apologize to TB?

I’d make HH and JeffR’s wildest dreams come true and make it treason to complain / criticize the government about anything, ever. Even my choice of tie at functions, can’t have you giving comfort to the enemy by letting them know you disapprove of my style choices.
Punishment would be death of course.
Nuke the middle east, make everyone with over 15% body fat go on V-Diet or GSD. Make every friday a cheat day. Eliminate anyone over 35% body fat. Allow for olympic athletes to be bred.

And people wonder why I am critical of lefties being ignorant of history and civics. The evidence just keeps piling up - fish in a barrel.
Oh, my other act as king - I would outlaw the criminally stupid.
In that vein, Entheogens, you have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will…

I guess since you are king that would be your own definition. Why not just outlaw people who think differently than you and eliminate 99% of the entire population in one fell swoop. More fruits for you.
My first act as king would be to regulate education allowing schools and teachers to focus more on “analytical thinking” than learning by “rote memorization”. I would also employ a 3 tier system to help establish educational excellence. The tiers would be focused on preparing students for the general work force, technical trade, or “higher education”.
My second act would be to downsize the military and make it more “elite”. I would also dissolve the IRS and the federal income tax, opting instead for a national sales tax.
Like TB I would also try to dissolve as much federal responsibility as possible that lie outside the arenas of defense, national security, education, and environmental regulation.
I’d also try to encourage fair trade standards by allowing corporations that trade with or in the US to become members of a “fair trade organization”–thus making them responsible for their own social awareness. This organization would be self regulating and independent of the US government.
Businesses who are members will be labeled as such and will adhere to a strict “bill of obligations”. These companies will get preference to bid on government contracts but more importantly, will enable customers to decide which businesses comply with their social values. I would have a majority say on contents in the original draft of the fair trade constitution.

Ren should be in there too, for his post above.

I wasn’t actually serious - it was in response to Entheogens painfully retarded characterization of my previous post.
I would nearly eliminate crime by legalizing prostitution and drugs.
