No kidding. I like wearing dresses and I look nice in them if they have a waist. I have a nice body with decent proportions. I imagine it must be even more frustrating for women shopping who already feel like their own bodies are unflattering and then throw on those ugly garments.

200-2 I’m going to partly blame the rack we were using. You can’t set it up facing away from the mirror. My tendency is to lean into the mirror exacerbating my forward lean problem. I stripped the bar and dragged it into another room with a rack that can be set up facing out

We spent the entire day doing repairs to our shed which really isn’t a shed so much as and outbuilding because it’s 12’x16’. It absolutely shattered me so I wasn’t expecting much for training. We really should have it torn down and have the area graded and paved for extra parking but I suspect that will cost an awful lot so we’ll keep propping it up for the time being.

I’m setting it up to do welding without, hopefully, burning it down. We got rid of most of the scrap and garbage. I put cement board down in an 8’x8’ area to work as a floor.

Week 6 Day 1

We missed training on Monday night because we went to a Judas Priest/Deep Purple concert. It was downtown and we could walk there from our house which was nice. The concert was great but it was kind of interesting watching the, mostly, geriatric crowd. I won’t excuse myself either. It was about 2 1/2 hours, the seating was tight. My left knee was kicking off for a while when we left.

This is my dog at the beach. She has been terrified of water since we got her 5 years ago. We decided to take her for a walk at a local beach. There was a puppy playing in the water so Dani wanted to go in too. She was very perplexed by the mini waves in the water. I was pretty happy that she went in and had fun. She wasn’t swimming but we’ll keep at it.

We trained at home tonight because the gym was closed for the holiday. Holy crap it was hot. Everything felt heavy and hard but it wasn’t shocking. I spent a fair amount of the afternoon in the shed with the grinder starting work on my deadlift jack. Holding the grinder hits my lower back like crazy.
