I Require Your Assistance

I know this has probably been posted quite a few times, but I must post it once more, this time by my own curiosity and eagerness to learn, and get into my first cycle.
Here, I'll drop you some background information:

Age: 19
Height: 5'9
Weight: 160 lbs
BF%: 14-15%

That pretty much sums it up. First of all, I've the basic questions, non-related to the cycle:

1) Is it too soon to jump into my first cycle?
2) Could I be ruining my potential?

I have been cutting for the past few months I was at around 20% body fat and I wanted to change, I've gone as low as 14-15% and I feel it's time to bulk up to repair the damage I caused to my metabolism during my cutting period given the lack of knowledge I had.
I know I'm still small as fuck and I can grow without jumping into the juice right away, which is why I'm already moving up in calories, started at 2000, increased 200 every 3-5 days, I'm at 2400 right now, I'll go as far as 2600-2700 and then stick to that caloric intake until it turns into my maintenance before adding another 100-200. Macros ratio : 50 - 30 - 20 (carbs, protein, fat) I weigh and note what I eat.

I also know it might seem soon for a first cycle, but damn, I wanna get far. I'm still young and I don't want to lose time, I want to stand proudly in Men's Physique category.

Should I be ready to get into my first cycle, this is what I plan:

Weeks 1 - 10/12: Test E 500mg every week.
Weeks 1 - 4: Dianabol 25mg every other day.
Weeks 1 - 12: Arimidex 0.5mg every other day. (Could go 0.25 for the first 4 weeks, then go as up as 0.5mg)
Weeks 13 - 14: Off everything.

PCT:
Weeks 15 - 16: Nolva 40mg, Clomid 100mg. Every other day or every day?
Weeks 17 - 18: Nolva 20mg, Clomid 50mg. Every other day or every day?

As for the questions I've regarding the cycle, they're the following:

1) Does it overall look good?
2) PCT, every other day or everyday?
3) I've heard HCG should be run through the cycle and weeks off, but not during the PCT. What would be a right dosage and when should I start and finish taking HCG?
4) I want to keep as much of my gains as possible. Any tips for this particular goal?
5) What should my diet look like (caloric intake, macros ratio)?

Thank you already, sincerely, an upcoming beeaaaassttt.

so basically, you just started lifting, and want to start using steroids?

5’9 160 and fat? and you want to start aas?

I would hold off for at least a couple years… you will likely ruin your joints and ligaments because your muscular strength will increase too rapidly for them to keep up.

That’s a very logical way to put it. So kid just use your logic on this one. You’re just not ready. You’re soft and small and 19. There’s no way you can’t put on some quality strength and size in a few years naturally. I know you want to rush into competing in men’s physique, but news flash, physique competitors aren’t that big. Its all about looking good in board shorts. You need to get your diet and training down before you even begin to think about using anything.

There’s many other forums and great articles that can help you do that on this site. I suggest you utilize them.

I’ve been lifting on and off for a year or so, lost plenty of time in bike accidents. I used to race on dirt bikes so, a broken wrist and knee injuries held me back for a while.

Now that you state that it makes sense, I just thought that since my lifts were no longer that newbish, I could pack on some mass by using AAS.

Deadlift 400 lbs, Squat 350 and benching 220.

Anyway, thanks for your replies so far guys!

Your best bet is to watch your diet and stick to a good program for a year. Don’t get too tricky, just do off the shelf 5/3/1 or something similar. Eat a good well-balanced and higher protein diet. Just take it each day at a time. Avoid all sugar. Very simple. Come back in a year and if you are still interested in AAS there will be plenty to help you out. Your current age and BF% are so far from ideal for a start to AAS it is not even funny.

Nothing wrong with asking, just you are far better served with a much simpler program for now.

Alright so, I’ve to wait. It’s alright. I’ve patience.
I’ve been doing Babylover’s Starting Strength for the past months, what should I hop into now!? I was looking forward to changing my way of training, perhaps a P/P/L split, though I’m not sure if it’s optimal. Any suggestions other than 5/3/1?

Hey bro I understand how you feel I have similar stats! But i’m coming off chemotherapy and this is the lightest I been in 4 years. I would wait at least until you have 100% confidence in your own natural ability before AAS. I KNOW you don’t feel that confident because I can put myself in your shoes.

I wanted to rush on a cycle and my first time on this site I was 165 at 12%. I worked my ass off to wanna start a AAS and got to 183 at about 15% and then fate struck me and I’m back at the bottom. But bro take your time learn your body eat well and experiment with lifts. After you feel great and have a decent foundation go for it!

You are gonna do something regardless of what we tell you then at least be safe. There is a newbie cycle forum that is great and will be where I go for my first cycle even though I have had mine planned for 4 years and won’t do it at least until I’m 175-180.

Take into account that my pursuit is mostly aesthetical. I do want to be stronger but my main goal is to be visually pleasing, muscular, etc.

Trust me man the risk of getting gear and messing with your endocrine system won’t be worth the gains you “could” make with your limited diet and training experience. Trust me man just wait. Inbox me if you want we can talk more. I’m waiting at least until October depending on my gains. Just started a bulk which is going super well.

I stated my goals to give you guys some “guideline” on what sort of workout you could suggest me.
I’m not sure what program to hop into, today I’ve been reading Coolcicada’s P/P/L, Big But Boring 5/3/1 modification and a few others which have led into confusion.

Ha yeah well I guess that was a bold statement. Many look bigger than they are because they’re always staying lean and have bigger arms and delts. You dont have to be over 170lbs lean to be competitive in mens physique at his height. Especially at an amateur level. He just has to build muscle in the right places.

#13

Then what routine would you suggest?
Being 170lbs and lean sounds terribly good, but what’s the best way to get started? I doubt starting strength is the best way to work towards my goals fellows.

As for competing, I’ll be starting at local competitions but, even though it might sound silly for you guys, I want to get my pro card at some point without being old enough to stop there, I’ll put as much hard work and strict nutrition as it may require

Your goals aren’t silly. I’d recommend you head over to the training forums. The search engine is a great tool. Many knowledgeable members here to give some quality advice on training and dieting. What I’d first recommend you do before starting another thread is do some reading. Look up “Eyedentist: how do you train?” It’s a good read from a smart individual who’s been in the game a while and has a physique you may be hoping to achieve in the future. There’s many others too.

Start a new thread in the training forums that includes the following: (they will be asked)

GOALS! Be specific
Age, height, weight, approx BF%
lifting stats
years of training
previous programs/splits completed with results and current routine
current diet (be honest)
current photos (non photoshoped). some before photos would help gauge your progress from when you started. Plus current photos give us an idea of what areas you need to focus on more. Could be all areas. We don’t know at this point.

I believe this would be a good place to start. Good luck and congratulations for not being an idiot.
