Things are moving in the right direction. I am far more competitive with higher belts and am able to string together multiple attacks from certain positions.
I favour the guillotine and am able to use it as both an attack and also a sweep, chaining into arm-in variations as well as anacondas and d’arces (though I mostly use those last two to readjust and finish the guillotine)

1hr private lesson with coach working on getting my legs and hips more involved and then focusing on sharpening my guillotine so to speak.
Lots of work securing the position and then following the opponent, almost letting them decide where they get submitted.
First time using a high elbow position and it immediately clicked.
Coach is a great guy and we basically discussed that the guillotine is a multi tool rather than just a submission. Use it like a sweeps, a transition, an attack or part of a chain of attacks.
