Bench
Not sure what I ate today by my stomach was upside down once I got to the gym. Arching in the bench was torture so I just pulled my shoulders blades back and it was fine. I couldn’t use leg drive which was annoying

7x77,5, the aim for the day was 9 but that’s ok while feeling like crap. No leg drive makes a huge difference too.
5x10x50 felt great surprisingly, still with no arch or leg drive.
5x12x26 kg DB rows felt good, I wanted to do more reps today and not use the 30s. Stomach was totally fine for these. The pain was really just when I was laying down on the bench.
Got in, got out, no reason to add fluffy things today
BBB is going very well overall, the doms in my legs are fine this week, completely different from the first week. I am thinking of doing two cycles before going into the triumvirate for one cycle.

I’ve got a piece of paper with all my PR’s that way I know what to shoot for.
I really like it, and when you get that strong day, it’s easy to look at the paper and go for it.

I have it somewhere too ! Usually I try to beat last week’s 1RM. I wanted to look at my log here and search for it but didn’t really have the time. I know I’ve done 11x50 so I try to get as close to that as possible and try to beat it.

2x12x50 Pendlay rows, I haven’t done barbell rows in ages and my lats are pretty sore today!
I wanted to try good mornings as the triumvirate has it as an exercice so I wanted to practice.
I did a few sets with the bar and played with high and low bar positions.
3x12x40kg, I can feel my hamstrings today. With the 5x10 on the DL I can feel my upper hamstrings being tight the day after but good morning really stretches them.

5x15x5kg DB triceps rolling extensions, very light to get blood flow to the elbows
weight 85,4kg, I need to eat more in the mornings. I usually eat a lot from lunch until night time but not enough at breakfast
Quick update… it’s not good. I can’t bend over, I’m going to the doc this morning. The pain is on the left, under my erector. I hope it’s just a pulled muscle and nothing worse
I actually was down slower the last few weeks. The bracing probably wasn’t good as the bar crunched me over like 1 cm on the way up. That really surprised me as I take the time to brace at the top… I crunched about half way up too and not just after the rebound. Obviously something went wrong. It doesn’t hurt in some ranges of motion though which is good I can walk etc
edit: The doctor told me I pulled a muscle as it’s far from my spine and I can still hyper extend and move quite well. It’s jsut when I want to stand up from a sitting position, engaging my back gives me radiating pain.
Cheers for the input Mortdk. It’s actually mid back and not in my lower back at all. I’m OK now, the real test will be tomorrow morning when I get out of bed.
