HPM - Setting Up a Deload Phase



I was wondering if anyone could share their suggestions/thoughts with setting up a lighter cycle(deload) for the HP Mass program?

Im about to finish my 10th week (3 cycles)

I was thinking of:

  • dropping my MTW's % (maybe start at 75% of MTW's)
  • Only using single ramps (+ maybe double waves)
  • excluding a day (either for a NC or an explosive type w/o similar to phase 1 of CT's off-season football program)
  • NC micro-cycle

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's an awesome find. Thanks for posting it.

This is the only problem with these forum-based "gems" of information - you have to be almost dedicated to reading the boards all the time to keep up with the great incidental pieces that aren't included in the articles. Not Christian's fault I know, just an observation. I know I'm grateful that Christian contributes his wisdom and experience so frequently.
