How You Deal with Critics?

If you squatted deep enough, then you know it.

Fuuuuuck them haters, get shredded brah!

Didn’t read the other comments but what I’m about to say had probably been said already…

First of all, a legit 500lb squat is good man (unless you weigh 350+lbs lol). Be proud of that.

Secondly, who cares if someone doesn’t believe you? You know you did it so who cares? Don’t let what other people say get to you.

Keep it up.

I know it’s always easier said than done, but once you truly don’t give a rats ass what anyone else thinks, the happier you’ll be. When I started competing, everyone in my gym would come up to me offering unsolicited, and basically bad advice. I quickly learned it was best to just smile and say thanks, and then resume trying to accomplish MY goals, for MY own satisfaction.

If people are impressed, great. If people wanna bitch and complain in attempt to cut down my achievements and make themselves feel better, great. At the end of the day, neither option really affects me in the least.

But, stu, don’t you know you have to do light weight and high reps when you’re cutting?
