Before you start squatting, get your hamstrings feeling good by doing 3-4 sets of hamstring curls or 45 degree hyper extensions. Really focus on a nice squeeze. Reg Park was into this like 70 years ago, and it’s till good today.
Before each set of squats, do 4-5 brief “Seated Psoas Lifts” per leg. This super easy move is like practice using your abs, obliques and hip flexors to stay upright with your knees bent. Learn to stay upright, in an easy way, right before you squat.
Hit some neck work. Your body goes where your head leads, so work on using your upper back, traps and neck to keep your head up and torso upright.
Why does this seem so much like a troll post? You have a comeback for every suggestion made here. Just have your coach record you if its such a big deal.
I have this karate stick at home that I practice squats with while I have my shoes on. This cue helps I can see the difference in what I was doing before. Can’t wait to film next week
