How to Split Up Macros

I often read and hear that you should consume about 1-1.5g protein per pound body weight. Using a massive-inspired calorie amount and a 40-30-30% breakdown (protein, carbs, fat) I am set to consume about 320g of protein a day. Is this too much?

Should I switch nutrients up to about 1.5g protein per pound or what? I’m a little bit confused by the insane amount of food the massive eating plan calls for and not quite sure what to do. Thanks!
